Kids of all ages can find fun things to do at the library. We offer story times, cooking classes, STREAM activities, crafts, teen programs and more. Come check out our exciting and engaging programs!  ABC Come Play with Me—Small Children (ages 0-5) • 10:45 a.m. every Thursday  After School Bunch—Children (ages 6-11) • 3:30 p.m. every Friday  Clueless in the Kitchen—Tweens & Teens (ages 12-18) • 3:30 p.m. on the first Wednesday of the month  Kids in the Kitchen—Children (ages 6-11) • 3:30 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of the month  LEGO Builders—Children (ages 6-11) • 3:30 p.m. on the third Tuesday of the month  Mother Goose Time—Small Children (ages 0-2) • 9 & 10 a.m. every Thursday  Storytime—Small Children (ages 3-5) • 10 a.m. every Thursday  STREAM—Children (ages 6-11) • 3:30 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month  TAG—Tweens & Teens (ages 12-18) • 3:30 p.m. on the first Thursday of the month  Teen Time—Tweens & Teens (ages 12-18) • 3:30 p.m. on the third Thursday of the month The library will be CLOSED on MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 1 in observance of LABOR DAY

Are You Interested in Being a Library Friend? We are considering reviving the Friends of the Carey Library, Inc. organization. Friends was originally started in 1987 with activity suspended in 1994. The goals of the organization are to: • Promote public relations between the community and the library • Encourage endowments and donations • Seek gifts of needed materials • Raise funds for special projects • Support literacy projects • Sponsor presentations and activities • Assist with library-related events Friends of the Carey Library, Inc. is an Ohio non-profit corporation [510(c)(3) or 509(a)(1), 170 (b)(A)] organization. Any individual or organization would be eligible to join Friends of the Carey Library, Inc.
