This program is for infants through 2 years old. Each session lasts approximately 30 minutes. The children must be accompanied by an adult during the half hour. There are stories, songs, and activities. If school is not in session or is cancelled that day, there will not be Mother Goose Time.
Come to the library on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 3:30 p.m. to learn how to make treats that can be shared with family and friends. Cover-to-Cover Book club is a program for children in grades 3,4, and 5. The club will meet the first Tuesday of the month September through May at 3:30 p.m. Each month a book is chosen to read and discuss. The goal is to get students to engage with what they are reading and to begin thinking critically about what they have read while still having fun. This month the book is: Snazzy Cat Capers by Deanna Kent. Ophelia and her inventor sidekick Oscar F.
Carmen Coppler will be showing off her unique talent of book folding. Book Folding is the art of folding the pages within books to create 3D shapes. You can do relatively simple ones like a diamond or a heart, or super complicated ones like a bulldog silhouette or patterns done on all three sides of the pages.
