Zen adult coloring is held on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 9:30 a.m. & 6 p.m. Relax and unwind with a new coloring project every month and a sweet snack.

Join the Dorcas Carey Public Library and Chelsea Gottfried, Naturalist from the Crawford Park District for the Face to Face with Fairytale Animals program.  Meet some real-life fairytale animals, including a dragon and frog prince!  Children will learn about a bearded dragon, gray treefrogs, a cornsnake, and a box turtle.  There will be opportunities to touch and hold the animals, and a discussion on how to show kindness to all animals—even those often viewed as “scary”.   Be sure to join in the animal fun!

Be sure to join the scavenger hunt fun!  Stop in at the library to pick up your scavenger hunt papers and scout out our local businesses!  Return your tickets to the library in order to have a chance to win one of the baskets filled with goodies from our local merchants!
