Carey Page Turners Book Discussion Group

The Carey Page Turners will meet on Wednesday, May 17th at 6:30 p.m. to discuss the book:  The Night Shift by Alex Finlay.  It’s New Year’s Eve 1999. Y2K is expected to end in chaos: planes falling from the sky, elevators plunging to earth, world markets collapsing. A digital apocalypse. None of that happens. But at a Blockbuster Video in New Jersey, four teenagers working late at the store are attacked. Only one inexplicably survives.

Tea Party

Time for tea!  On Saturday, May 13th, at 11 a.m. the Dorcas Carey Public Library will hold a tea party for children 2 years of age up to 3rd grade.   Dress up, bring your dolls and join us for snacks and tea.  Play games such as Bingo and Tea Bag Toss.  Children are welcome to invite their mom or grandma to attend alongside them.  Sign up to reserve your spot in person at the Dorcas Carey Public Library, by phone at 419-396-7921 or 419-788-2768.
