The Ohio Wildlife Center is dedicated to fostering awareness and appreciation of Ohio's Native wildlife. Don't miss your chance to learn about Ohio's wild animals and meet some animal ambassadors.
Back by popular demand; the Exotic Zoo is a traveling program that teaches about animals from around the world. Come to the waterworks park to meet these amazing animals. Be sure to bring a lawn chair with you, the seating fills up fast!
Meet us at the Waterworks park at 1:30 p.m. for a Character Ball! Come dressed as your favorite fairy tale or story book character (super heroes are good too). There will be games, snacks, karaoke, and dancing. We are going to have a ball!
Bring your lawn chair and join us on the library lawn at 6:30 to listen to our Carey High School Band!
Visit us at the Waterworks park for our annual children's carnival which features pony rides, visits with first responders, food, slime making, and games galore. Children of all ages are invited to participate!
Meet us at the Waterworks park for Science Heroes: Saving Earth Together . Two unlikely heroes work together to save their town from a super-polluting mastermind! This interactive STEM program is fun for kids of all ages.
Join the us at the Waterworks Park in Carey at 1:30 p.m. to meet some real-life fairytale animals, including a dragon and a frog prince! There will be opportunities to touch and hold the animals, and we will discuss how to show kindness to all animals, even those often viewed as "scary". Chelsea Gottfried from the Crawford Park District will be presenting this program. All ages are welcome!
